Link

Description

A link is an information unit with an URL. It's comparable with a favorite in your browser. The advantage compared to a browser is that the full content of the link will be indexed for the local search engine. In addition Remus will take a webshot of the page and saves it as an image.

Desktop-Integration

Remus can create Link-infotype from dropped URLs or dropped text.

Important Information

The ability for webshotting the link is disabled by default, the webshotting is delegated to a 3rd party command line tool, which is, due to licensing issues, not shipped with the initial download. You have to download it separately and configure Remus for using it. Further information and a list of free tools for webshotting a website you will find in the FAQs.
